What is Film Works?
Filmwork is a service that searches and finds performers for various advertising, TV and film productions. For example, actors, actresses, models, assistants, etc. Anyone can register as a performer and apply for roles, and many production companies are looking not only for professionals but also for ordinary people to work on commercials and productions. Production companies, casting companies, TV channels, advertising agencies and event companies are among those who use the service to find performers.

The production companies in the service are professional and safe. The production companies are checked before they are accepted as users of the service.
A commission is paid for all gigs
Compensation varies widely depending on the different roles and productions. For assistant roles, compensation can be e.g. 20-50 € gift cards. For larger roles, compensation can be up to thousands of euros, depending on the demands of the role and the production.
For producers, actors and production companies
You are guaranteed to find the right performers for your productions. We have over 15 000 performers in our database who are actively looking for gigs. It's easy to book gigs and process applications. Register at and make casting easy.
When you use Filmwork as a role-player, you will see directly in your ad the people who have applied for it and the profiles they have filled in themselves. It's easy to browse through and you'll also get contact details directly from the applications, and you can contact and arrange details with the applicants.

Ilmari Kuusi
Ilmari, "Immu", is the founder and CEO of the company. Ilmari is a multi-tasker who enjoys working with people. Ilmari founded the Studio Audience service years ago, which was the start of our new platform for role-playing. Photographer friend Marek Sabogal soon joined the development team, and very different personalities found a common passion to build a service that solves the film industry's meeting problems in a new way.
Ilmar's commercial training and racing background, suitably combined with his sailor's dreamy nature, will keep the company moving forward. "My role is to connect people and productions and make things happen. The best part is when people have different, communal experiences on set and are brave enough to go out and experience something new."
Alongside family life, most leisure time is spent sailing at sea in summer and cross-country skiing in winter. And the guitar plays whenever possible!
Marek Sabogal
I have been a photographer for over 20 years, working on a variety of productions large and small. Many commercial shoots, numerous frontline artists and authors. Occasionally shot directly for companies for potrettes and brand images. Still photographer for several TV/film productions, I also do promotional posters for films and TV series. Almost always with people in the pictures, less often with professional models. From all of this, I have developed a strong sense of humanity with the subjects I shoot as well as the clients.
In film work, I act as a creative developer and producer of the service. It's damn great to be developing something that hasn't existed in Finland before and to offer better and more efficient tools for those doing role work, as well as to offer the opportunity for undiscovered gems to be more easily found.
