General questions
Filmjobs is a service where production companies advertise for performers for TV, commercials and film productions. Performers, in turn, can apply for roles through the service via the production companies' advertisements.
Filmityöt is a privately owned independent company, owned by Ilmari Kuusi and Marek Sabogal, long-time filmmakers. They are also involved in the day-to-day operations of Filmityöt.
All of them! Anyone can register as a performer and create a profile on the service. Productions need all kinds of people, from ordinary people to professionals and all ages.
Children under 18 years of age need a parent or guardian's permission to register for our service.
Yes. You apply for gigs using your own profile, whether you are a child or an adult. Children under 18 years of age need a parent or guardian's permission to register for our service.
Use of the service
User accounts are not closed or passivated even if they are not used for a long time. If you still have the same email address and if you remember your password, you can log in normally here.
If you don't remember your password, you can order a new one from the login page.
If you have a new/different email address than the one you registered with:
please contact us and ask us to change your email address. Please include as much information about your account as you can remember in your message. If you want to change your account name, please include as much information as you can about your account, including your first and last name, the name you used when you registered, your membership number, your username, your age, etc. Contact us by email: info@filmityot.fi
To apply for the gigs on our website, you must have a premium membership. You can upgrade your user account directly from your profile under "Premium Membership".
If you have forgotten your password or username, please order a new password from the login page.
The message may have gone to your email spam folder. All major email services use spam filters to block unwanted spam. Check your spam folder. If the message is not there, wait a while longer or check that you entered the correct email address when you registered.
If you have a new email address, please contact us and tell us as much as possible about your profile information so we can help you:

Login, password, personal profile
Each job advertisement has a button to start filling in the job application. The application is easy to fill in and will automatically include all the information you already have in your profile. Depending on the fields filled in your profile and the requirements of the job, some information will need to be completed when you apply. A Premium Membership is required to apply for gigs.
It may take a while to activate your Premium membership if you have used MobilePay as your payment method. In this case, you will not be able to complete the application. You can check the status of your membership in your profile if you are not sure whether your subscription has already been activated. Once your premium membership is active, you will be able to fill in the application from the gig notification.
If your premium account is active and you are still experiencing problems opening your application, please contact us to find out what the problem is.

You can share your Film Works performer profile with casting notices outside our service on other channels. There may be search ads for film jobs on various channels such as Facebook, Instagram or your email that you may not find on Filmworks. So your profile can also serve as a digital CV that is always up to date, as long as you remember to update it! You can update and complete your profile according to the wishes of the job advertisements and send the link, for example by email, directly to the person responsible for the advertisement. This way, the editor will see your updated profile and may contact you about the production in question.

2. Copy the public address link of your profile and email it to the production of your choice (note that your profile must be in "public" mode, which you can change in the ACCOUNT & PERSONALITYsection if you wish).
Studioyleiso.fi is the "sister service" of Filmityöt, a service used by production companies to find audiences for TV programmes. The service is in active use and a number of TV programmes have found their audience through it. Sign up to the mailing list and soon you too can be on the set of a TV programme. Registration for the studio audience is free of charge.
A good profile includes good quality, up-to-date photos of yourself, contact details and personal information. The more details you include in your profile, the more a production company will be interested in you. You can find the instructions for a good profile in the email we sent you when you registered. Stakeholders, Producers and production companies
Any manufacturing company can register and start using the service. Producers and production companies will be background checked before being accepted as users of the service.
In the navigation (and in many other places) there is a link to "Report a gig". A form pops up to enter the details of the gig. The applicants/applications are automatically listed in the "Producer's Desktop" so it's easy to process them.
No cost. The basic features of the service, namely posting jobs, browsing applications and selecting candidates, are free of charge.
In addition to the free service, we offer additional services for a fee. These include: payment of fees, casting service, studio audience, etc.
