What we do
Filmityot.fi - provides an information and brokerage service for casting, film, television, theatre and media (the "Service"). The Service is open to individuals and legal entities who wish to search for jobs through the Service or to find people for various productions through the Service (a registered user of the Service hereinafter referred to as "Filmityöläinen"). Filmityot.fi works in cooperation with Studioyleiso.fi.
To become a member of filmityot.fi and apply for the jobs advertised, you will need to register your contact information in your profile, i.e. your first name, last name, email address and phone number.
The general information that you can provide when you join or add to your profile later is public and visible to all visitors to the site. Your contact details can only be read by other Film Workers.
Below we explain in more detail how Filmityot.fi processes your personal data.
Joining is free. You keep your membership until you decide to stop. If you do not log in to the Service within 12 months, your membership may be cancelled.
Terms and conditions
When you join Filmityöläiseksi, a contract is created between you and filmityot.fi, for the implementation of which it is necessary to process the personal data you provide. Filmityot.fi will use the information you provide for marketing purposes and may share your data with other Filmityöläläinen for marketing purposes. Marketing may take place, inter alia, by telephone or, if you give your consent, by e-mail and SMS. You have the right to request the cessation of the above marketing activities at any time.
You are responsible for any information you add to your profile page. The information must not be offensive, hateful, unethical or contain violent or pornographic content. The information must not contribute to the spread of computer viruses or otherwise violate Finnish law. You must also refrain from unauthorized use of information that is protected by copyright or otherwise not made available without the consent of the copyright owner or the permission of the law. If Filmityot.fi determines that information in your profile violates these Terms, Filmityot.fi may delete the information or request that you delete the information immediately.
If you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, Filmityot.fi has the right to terminate your membership immediately and to require you to compensate Filmityot.fi for any damages that may result from your breach of these Terms. If you are under 18 years of age, you must always seek parental consent to join the Service and for the processing of your personal data.

We want to be transparent about how we process your personal data. Below we explain what personal data is and how we collect, process and protect your data.
You can stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your membership on the website or by contacting us. If you cancel your membership, all your personal data will be deleted from our system unless we are required by law to retain it.
What is personal data?
Any information that can be used to identify a person can be considered personal data. This includes names, telephone numbers, email addresses, addresses, etc. Pictures, videos, audio files and other things may also be considered personal data if they contain information that can be linked to individuals.

What data do we store and why?
The personal data we process is generally collected from you when you register or otherwise use the Service. We may also collect information from you when you use the Website. The content of the personal data we collect and process depends on what you do and how you use the Website.

Contributors/employees:
- Membership registration information (basic information such as name, username, email address, phone number)
- Profile information (in addition to membership information, optionally include gender, date of birth, place of residence, ethnicity, hair colour, eye colour, height, weight, photo, information about your education, video clips, audio clips, personal description)
Organisations:
- Information required to register a company profile (name, email address, telephone number, personal identification number and business ID)
- Job advertising, (contact name and email address)

How do we use your data?
We use your personal data to provide you with the Service, to manage your relationship with us, to inform you about job opportunities and to develop and improve our services.
We may also process your personal data to analyse the use of our website and to market our services.
How your data is shared with others
Our aim is always to maximise your chances of getting a job as an assistant, actor or model. This is why your information will sometimes need to be shared with third parties.
We will share your information in the following situations.
- We will share your information with potential employers when you choose to respond to a job advertisement on our website.
- We will share your information with registered and approved employers when they search our register.
For example, we may disclose your personal data to public authorities if we are required to do so by law.
Facebook login
By registering your user account through your Facebook login or linking your current account to your Facebook login, you can easily log in to our website through your Facebook membership. To make this work, your unique identification key on Facebook is stored with us. By accepting the link to Facebook you allow us to retrieve your name, email address, date of birth and profile picture from Facebook.
Facebook likes
You can also like our Facebook page by clicking the "Like us on Facebook" button. We will then send you information for your Facebook feed. You can unsubscribe at any time on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/filmityot/
Facebook sharing
By clicking the "Share on Facebook" button next to an advertisement or other website content, you can choose to share information on Facebook. This information can be sent directly to a friend or published in your feed on Facebook.
Instagram
By clicking the "Share on Instagram" button next to an advertisement or other website content, you can choose to share information on Instagram. This information can be sent directly to a friend.
Cookies, tracking and advertising
Filmityöt.fi uses cookies to store information about you and your use of the website. We also use software outside of Google and Facebook for website analysis, tracking and marketing purposes.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that contain information that the website automatically stores on your computer.
We use cookies for a number of purposes:
Security: to securely log in and manage your user account.
Usability: to store information about your choices on the website so that you get the experience you expect. For example, automatic login and site version selection.
Website analytics: Identify website traffic patterns, detect problems and understand what content users value. This includes third-party cookies from Google and Facebook.
Performance: we can split users into different groups when testing new website content.
Tracking and advertising: Existing advertising campaigns and future marketing will be monitored, including so-called re-marketing. This includes third-party cookies from Google and Facebook.
You can disable cookies in whole or in part at any time through your browser. You can do this in your browser's security settings. However, if you disable cookies completely, it is likely that your user experience will be significantly impaired and access to the Service may be blocked. Monitoring and advertising
When the Filmityot.fi website is used at group level, we use a number of different services from third parties. In addition, third party services track users who have interacted with our marketing campaigns.
The third party services we use are:
Google Analytics, a tool for analysing the use of websites. For example, the tool helps us to see which parts of our site are popular, which sites link to us and which devices, operating systems and browsers our users use. We use this information, among other things, to determine how to further develop the website. The tool uses cookies, among other things, to help us to improve the use of the website.
Google AdWords, which is an advertising tool on Google Search and Google's other advertising networks. We use the tool to track who has clicked on our ads and to determine which stakeholders and user groups are suitable for future advertising. The tool uses cookies to enable tracking.
Facebook Pixel, which like Google Analytics is a tool for analysing the use of your website. In addition, the Pixel is used to track advertising-related purchases on the Facebook Advertising Network and to create a base for future advertising to new groups of users. The tool uses cookies to enable this tracking.
If you want to disable ad tracking, you can download third-party plug-ins for most browsers, called ad blockers, to help you do this. However, we do not offer any assistance in setting these up. We also cannot guarantee that our service will work correctly if you choose to use it.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to request the information stored about you. In such cases, log in, click on "My Pages", "My Membership" and then "Download all stored data".
If you find errors in the information stored about you, you have the right to have the incorrect information corrected. You can edit your data by logging in and editing your data yourself or by contacting us. You have the right at any time to request the deletion of your data from the Service. You can do this by cancelling your membership yourself or by contacting us. If you cancel your membership, all your personal data will be deleted from our system, unless required by law to be retained.
If you do not want to receive email, advertising or SMS mailings, you can ask to stop receiving them. At the end of each mailing you receive, you will find information on how to stop the marketing.
